What women want
Respect and responsibility
The Proper Care and Feeding of Husbands
Consent makes all the difference in the world
When is implicit consent enough?
Could you be a slave, owned, property?
Being taken in hand was really rather super
Wedded bliss
Find your voice and speak
Taken in hand by tenderness
How do you relate to one another publicly?
Drop your ego. Sex is a skill just like driving a car. Being a great driver doesn’t come naturally to most of us. You learn through practice. So why do we attach our self worth to sexual prowess? A stubborn ego is the biggest roadblock to great sex. Ego stops you from learning new skills because you assume you are already the best. You cannot improve unless you admit there’s room for improvement.
Ask and listen. No two lovers are exactly alike. Maybe you rocked your ex’s world, but that doesn’t mean you’re the perfect sex partner for everyone. Perhaps your ex lover was easy to please, or you weren’t as good as you thought you were (Remember that ego?). The best way to find out what you lover wants is to ask, and then carefully listen to their response. The same “tricks” that worked with previous lovers won’t necessarily work with new partners.
Pay attention. This one is a bit different from listening. Sometimes your lover won’t feel comfortable telling you everything. Look for signs as to whether or not she or he is enjoying sex. Are they moaning? Does she/he seem to be losing control? Are they in the moment, or are they just staring at the ceiling waiting for you to finish?
Get comfortable with your body. There’s nothing less attractive than insecurity. Are you ashamed of your body? Do you need to turn the lights out during sex? Are you embarrassed to being seen without your clothes? Most people are a little bit shy about nudity. The best way to get over mild bashfulness is to get naked more often. Walk around your house naked. Sleep naked. Have sex with the lights on. Worried about those love handles? Hit the gym, and start a healthy diet, but you don’t have to be a fitness model to be comfortable in your own skin.
Some folks suffer from a more serious condition known as body dysmorphic disorder. If you suffer from a serious body image issue I recommend professional help. You shouldn’t have to feel that way. There are people who can help.
